Once upon a time, a little girl born biracial and multicultural, often wondered where she belonged as she looked “different”. Her rich ethnic background traced in 3 continents turned her wonder into curiosity and appreciation for cultural differences. At a young age, she did not feel different but unique and decided to explore this world she calls home. She exhibited an early love for foreign languages and global cultures by dressing her dolls in various international wear and creating a different “language” for each of them. As years passed, she continued her life long journey of learning about various countries and cultures by living and traveling globally. She always got the question: WHAT ARE YOU? She found herself explaining so much that it felt like she was justifying her background to skeptics. One day, she just said, I am a piece of every great woman around the globe, I am Globaliscious. The reaction of her audience was so empowering that it became her motto. It raised curiosity and led to amazing conversations of how she navigates life in a world where differences are often obstacles, she calls obstacles, opportunities!
